Bernice considered her life’s greatest work her children and looking after and caring for her three grandsons.  She was the foundation of her family.  Bernice was a Cub Scout leader and also a Brownie leader.  She was an easy going and beautiful woman.  From a young girl she loved dancing and took ballerina lessons and danced in recitals.  She was an excellent swimmer and she attended exercise classes until she was eighty six years old.  Bernice had many friends and enjoyed volunteering at the St. Louis Zoo, going to the Muny, playing mahjong and had a wonderful smile that could light up a room.  She instilled a passion for living and enjoying life.  In her ninety nine years of life she had an impact on many people.  It is certain that she did not waste a moment of her life.
