Bernard J. Mellman, died June 10, 2014. Beloved son of the late Morris and the late Mary Mellman; dear brother of the late Goldie (Marvin) Rothman and the late Harry (the late Jeanette) Mellman; dear uncle of Marjorie (Donnie) Ganzer and Michael Mellman; dear great-uncle of Austin, Dillon, and Jordan Ganzer; our dear cousin and friend. Mr. Mellman graduated from Soldan High School, Washington University and Washington University School of Law and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa in 1943. He was a veteran of the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Mellman practiced law in St. Louis for many years and served as Assistant Attorney General of Missouri and as Municipal Judge of University City. He was an active volunteer, spending time at Jewish Hospital, the St. Louis Symphony Society and Sheldon Concert Hall. Graveside service Thursday, June 12^th, 12 PM at Beth Hamedrosh Hagodol Cemetery, 9125 Ladue Road. Memorial contributions preferred to the charity of your choice.
