Beloved husband of the late Jessie Patzius Hirsch; dear step-father of Lebert (Sharon) Patzius, Steven Patzius, Meco (Patty) Patzius, Ken (Scott) Hirsch and Kevin (Kristie) Patzius; dear grandfather and great-grandfather of many; dear brother of Judith Kunstler and Linda (Jonathan) Kamen; dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Buddy was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War for which he proudly served. He attended the University of Missouri-Columbia. Buddy and his late wife, Jessie, taught Harmonica lessons at St. Louis Community Colleges for many years. He was a dedicated member of the St. Louis Gateway Harmonica Club, which played at many events across the St. Louis region.

There will be a Visitation on Friday, March 11 from 9:30 AM – 11:00 at New Mt. Sinai Mausoleum, 8430 Gravois Rd. 63123. The Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM in the mausoleum. Memorial contributions preferred to the Jessie Rae Hirsch Endowed Scholarship Fund at St. Louis Community College. The service will be livestreamed at www.bergermemorialchael.com.
