Barbara Goldenhersh, Ph.D., died June 10, 2011 in Belleville, Ill. Beloved wife of Judge Richard P. Goldenhersh; dear mother of Andrew (Ali Handal) Goldenhersh of Los Angeles, Calif. and Stephanie (Gary Alpert) Goldenhersh of Boston, Mass.; dear grandmother of Jacy and Dylan Alpert; dear daughter of the late Herman and the late Lucy Mostow; dear sister of Rita (David) Librach and Alan Mostow; our dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend to many. Funeral service Monday, June 13th, 1:00 p.m. at Berger Memorial Chapel, McPherson at Walton. Visitation Monday, 12:00 Noon. Interment Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery-White Road. Dr. Goldenhersh held a Ph.D. in education and taught at the elementary level and college level teacher’s education. She was the communications director for the Ehlers-Danlos National Foundation and a Vice- President of the Jewish Federation of Southern Illinois.
