Age 95, Born November 11, 1925 in St. Louis.

Beloved wife of the late Alfred Friedman and the late Marvin B. Schmidt; dear mother and mother-in-law of Susan Schmidt Whiddington (Charles) of London, Nancy Schmidt of New York City, and Bennett Schmidt (Shelley) of New York City; dear grandmother of Clayton Schmidt (Samantha), Richard Whiddington (Aoshuang Zhang), Blake Schmidt, and Emma Whiddington; dear great-grandmother of Ava Schmidt; dear daughter of the late Herman and the late Esther Glick; dear sister of the late Selma Gidlow (the late Elmer); dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to so many.

A graduate of Clayton High School, Audrey received her B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis – Class of 1947. She was an enthusiastic and accomplished duplicate bridge player. Audrey also was very involved in many organizations, including NCJW, the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, Miriam STL, and Jewish Hospital (currently Barnes-Jewish Hospital.) Audrey had an affable, warm nature and outgoing personality and she was very grateful to have a world of friends – all of whom were very near and dear to her heart.
