Arnold (Arnie) Monte Schrier, died February 6, 2015. Beloved husband of Thelma Schrier for 63 years, father of Kathryn Schrier (William) Norman; John Schrier, Shifra (Linda ) Schrier Newman (Aharon). His wonderful grandchildren are Kevin Norman (Agnes), Dr. Shayna Conner (Dr. Craig ), Dr. Kaila Norman, Janine Norman, Trevor Schrier, Shelby Schrier, Elazar Newman (Lindsay), Rabbi Daniel Newman (Sarah Sasha) , Dr. Devorah Ginn (Nathan) Elana Newman, Avi Newman and Ovadyah Newman. His perfect great-grandchildren are Nossom Tzvi Newman, Avi Yeshaya Newman, Leah Newman, Chana Shaindel Newman, Yosef Shlomo Newman, Shmuel Yakov Newman, Julian Sheldon Norman, Ethan Francis Norman, and Ariella Kathleen Conner. He loved his niece JoEllen Rubenstein (Leonard) and nephews Steve Lending (Pat), Dr. Robert Lending, and Steve Brody (Nancy.) Arnie served his community for years at Shaare Emeth Congregation, World Bird Sanctuary, St. Louis Zoo, Jewish Food Pantry, his country in World War II and many more organizations. Four generations of his family will remember his love, generosity, humor, and outgoing personality. Funeral services will be Monday, February 9, 10:00 a.m., at Shaare Emeth Congregation, 11645 Ladue Road. Visitation at 9:30.
