Arlene Levy Rosengarten, Passed on September 13th, 2022
Beloved mother of Jamie Young (Scott); Dear Grandmother of two beautiful grandchildren, Hayden and Berkley; Dear daughter of the late Norman and Celia Levy; Loving sister of Sandra Levy Krem; Dear Aunt to Michelle Krem Perris and her Husband Greg Perris; Great Aunt to Grant and Maren Perris; Dear Aunt to the late Natalie Gail Krem Trottier; Dear Great Aunt to Gabrielle, Spencer and Marissa Trottier; Carl Essen, devoted companion.
She fought from ALS disease for three years with the same grit and will with which she approached all aspects of life. Arlene was an avid artist, loved going to her art classes to learn how to improve. Everyday she would carry her easel, canvases up the stairs with along with paints through the school halls. She would encourage her sister Sandy to practice everyday on some form of art, a way to improve. Arlene spent her career in the Ad specialty business starting in her twenty’s where she not only sold to her customers, but became friends with many, until the end of her life, doing what she loved.
Arlene would type her words with her phone, then a voice would come through what she was saying, this way she stayed in contact with family, friends, and her business
She was a volunteer in a variety of charitable causes, and serving others the best she could. Those who she has left behind will remember Arlene’s intellectual curiosity and insatiable desire to learn how to gain knowledge in many subjects. Arlene passed away peacefully , and will be dearly missed, may she rest in peace.
Arlene was buried at Chased Shel Emeth Cemetery on October 3rd, 2022. Preferred contributions to ALS research, or Stray Rescue where she painted an animal of some kind to be auctioned every year
