Allen S. Lasky, died March 2, 2015. Beloved son of the late Jacob Lasky and the late Mary Lasky, and the late Charles Goldstein and the late Sarah Lasky; cherished and devoted husband of Carolyn Gelber Lasky; loving father of Sunie Lasky and the late Jan Lasky Platt; adoring grandfather of David Lasky Platt, Jeffrey Lasky Platt and Katie Marissa Josephson; dear son-in-law of the late Louis and the late Minnie Gelber; dear brother-in-law of Marvin (the late Martha Sacks) Gelber and the late Fischel (the late Helen) Bank; our dearest uncle, cousin and friend to many. Our family would like to thank everyone at Nurses For You and Alternative Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. Mr. Lasky graduated from St. Louis Country Day School in 1945. He was a director of the St. Louis Society for Crippled Children, was instrumental in developing the photography program at Mary Institute and was a longtime and generous supporter of the Moog Center for Deaf Education.
