Alan Fischlowitz, died December 19, 2010 at the age of 73 in LaPoint, Wis. Originally from St. Louis; husband of Beth; father of Sharon Fischlowitz and David Fischlowitz; step-father of Sarah Ahlquist and Jedd and Andrea Beach; grandfather of Isabella and Asher Beach. A celebration of his life is planned for July 24, 2011 on Madeline Island with details to be announced at a later date. Contributions to Madeline Island Historical Preservation Assn., Public Library, Emergency Services or Grutzner Fund of the apostle Islands Area Community Fund.
