At the Nov. 1 Jubilation gala and fundraiser (held at the Reverie in Chesterfield), Congregation Shaare Emeth will honor Madeleine Elkins and Harvey Wallace with the Harris Frank Community Service Award.
It recognizes congregants who have demonstrated exemplary service to the congregation and the community.
Elkins had a 45-year career in the corporate world, is a member of the Shaare Emeth Caring Committee and serves on the board of the American Jewish Committee.
Wallace co-founded accounting firm Brown Smith Wallace and now is a principal with Private Fiduciary Solutions.
A former board chair of Jewish Federation of St. Louis, Wallace remains actively engaged in community service, including the Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital, the St. Louis Community Foundation, St. Louis Men’s Group Against Cancer and the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Center.
