“Kitchen Conversations: Sharing Secrets to Kitchen Design Success,” is the latest book co-written by former St. Louisans Barbara Ballinger and Margaret “Meg” Crane.
It is jam packed with great ideas as it takes readers through the design process step-by-step, enhanced by photos of both indoor and outdoor kitchens of all sizes and auxiliary rooms as well as personal profiles.
Many of the chapters focus on recent trends from more automation and robotic possibilities to places to have a second small kitchen or pantry, a homework station, buffet counter for setting out food and schmoozing and more.
Ballinger resides in Baltimore while Crane lives in New York City.
