Former St. Louisan Dr. Daniel Sheinbein recently received the 2025 Kaiser Permanente Excellence in Teaching Award from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine.
He is currently a fourth-year psychiatry resident at UNC – Chapel Hill where he serves as the founder and senior resident of the Interventional Psychiatry Track.
Sheinbein plans to open his own private practice upon completion of his residency in 2026.
