Rabbi Susan Talve is the founding rabbi of Central Reform Congregation and is the founder of the Ashrei Foundation, which works to heal and repair Missouri through justice and equity.
Rabbi Susan Talve (Ashrei Foundation) was one of four honorees chosen to receive 2025 MLK Drum Major for Justice Awards at the 2nd Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Worship Service and Awards Program, an Interfaith event organized by the Missouri Progressive Missionary Baptist Convention.

The Ashrei Foundation was created by Talve, now rabbi emerita at Central Reform Congregation, to tackle the systemic inequities that hinder economic mobility, aiming to create meaningful change.
