Times of Israel adds French edition

(JTA) — Two weeks after launching an Arabic edition, the Times of Israel news website has added a French-language one.

Started in 2012 as an English-language news website, the Jerusalem-based publication claims a readership of 2 million. In an article announcing the French addition to its oeuvre, Times of Israel Editor David Horovitz noted that France is the world’s third-largest Jewish community.

The French edition, like the Arabic one, will combine translations of English content supplemented by original material and a Francophone blog platform.
