Thai police arrest another Iranian national

Madani Seyed Mehrded, 33, was arrested over the weekend, when it was discovered that he was in the country on an expired visa.
Call logs showed that Mehrded had been in regular phone contact with two of the other suspects, including one whose legs were blown off in a Feb. 14 explosion outside a rented house in which another bomb had exploded, Reuters reported. .
In addition, police also said Mehrded had been waiting in front of the building where the Israeli embassy is located on the day of the explosions.
Mehrded denies involvement in the explosions.
Thai police have said the bombs that exploded in Bangkok are similar to one used to attack the car of an Israeli diplomat’s wife in New Delhi on February 13.
