(JTA) — Security personnel fired on a truck that sought to break through the security barrier at Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport.

According to initial media reports, the truck stopped after the shots were fired and the two passengers onboard were detained for questioning early Tuesday morning.

The airport was temporarily shut down in the wake of the incident.
