(JTA) — Dozens of Jewish settlers and Palestinians clashed with Israeli security forces in separate protests in the West Bank.

At Tapuah Junction on Friday, settlers protested the demolition the previous night of an unlicensed structure built to commemorate a settler who was stabbed to death Tuesday. One person was arrested following a scuffle between the protesters and police officers, Army Radio reported.

Eviatar Borovsky, 31, a father of five from the Yitzhar settlement, was killed Tuesday morning as he waited for a bus at the junction. The assailant then took Borovsky’s gun and began shooting at Border Guard officers. The officers returned fire, injuring the Palestinian, who was taken to an Israeli hospital to be treated for his wounds.

Meanwhile, about 100 Palestinians hurled stones at security service near the West Bank settlement of Kfar Kadum, 15 miles east of Kfar Saba. One Border Guard officer sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
