JERUSALEM — A church in Jerusalem was vandalized with an anti-Christian slogan.
“Death to Christians” was painted on the walls of a church in Jerusalem on Monday.
The words “Price Tag” and bad language about Jesus also were written on the Baptist Narkis Street Congregation in Jerusalem, according to reports. The tires of several cars in the area also were slashed.
It is the second attack on a church in the city this month. Two weeks ago, a similar attack was launched against the 11th-century Monastery of the Cross church. “Price tag” refers to the strategy that extremist settlers have adopted to exact a price in attacks on Palestinians and Arabs in retribution for settlement freezes and demolitions, or for Palestinian attacks on Jews.
