Report: Iran enriching its own uranium

(JTA) — Iran has begun uranium enrichment, a newspaper in the Islamic Republic is reporting.
The enrichment is being conducted at a well-protected underground facility, according to the Kayhan newspaper, which is reportedly well connected to Iranian leaders.
In contradiction to the report, Iranian nuclear chief Fereidoun Abbasi said over the weekend that the enrichment will begin “soon.”
The enrichment will reportedly take place at the Fordo nuclear facility, which is built inside a mountain.
