Reform synagogue in Ra’anana vandalized

JERUSALEM (JTA) — A Reform synagogue in the central Israel city of Ra’anana was vandalized with graffiti.

The graffiti found Thursday morning on the outside of the Kehilat Ra’anan synagogue building included quotes from the Rambam, Moses Maimonides, on non-believers, according to the Jerusalem Post.

The synagogue has previously been vandalized, most recently before Thursday in April 2011.

Rabbi Gilad Kariv, head of the Israel Religious Action Center based in Jerusalem, in a statement called the vandalism a “price tag” incident.
