Penn, Temple campuses victimized by anti-Semitic graffiti

A swastika was etched onto the door of an elevator located in the same building as the Penn Hillel last month. The university’s Division of Public Safety at the University of Pennsylvania last week closed an investigation into the incident without producing a suspect, the Daily Pennsylvanian reported. The incident was classified as a hate crime.
It was the first report of a hate crime on the campus in seven years, Vice President for Public Safety Maureen Rush told the student newspaper.
At Temple, the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity house was vandalized on Feb. 22. “F— You Jews” was spray-painted on the building, Temple News online reported.
AEPi is an international Jewish fraternity, though its membership is not exclusively Jewish.
Security camera videos from the Temple campus have revealed possible suspects, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.
