Palestinians riot near Rachel’s Tomb

JERUSALEM (JTA) — Palestinians rioted outside Rachel’s Tomb in Bethlehem.
Some 50 Palestinians threw rocks and at least 18 firebombs and nine pipe bombs at Israeli troops guarding the tomb on Wednesday evening, according to the Israeli military. One soldier was injured. One pipe bomb reportedly damaged the security fence.
Earlier Wednesday, a young Israeli boy was injured by a rock thrown at the car in which he was riding near the Tekoa settlement in the West Bank.
