JERUSALEM (JTA) — Palestinian youth threw rocks and bottles of paint at a school bus traveling in eastern Jerusalem.

The windshield of the bus was shattered by rocks thrown by masked Palestinian youths as it drove on the Mount of Olives at 8 a.m. on Sunday, according to reports. Several children on the bus were treated for shock, Israel Today reported.

Shortly after the school bus was attacked, a public bus was hit by rocks outside of the Old City of Jerusalem, shattering several windows, the Jerusalem Post reported.
