(JTA) — An Israeli human rights organization best known for its advocacy on behalf of Palestinians called for the three Jewish suspects being detained in the deadly firebombing of a Palestinian home to be allowed access to their lawyers.

B’Tselem: The Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories also called on Israeli authorities to investigate the suspects, whose attack killed a Palestinian infant and his parents, “without abuse or use of prohibited interrogation methods,” the Times of Israel reported Tuesday.

The Shin Bet security service has not allowed the suspects to meet with attorneys, claiming that doing so could interfere with ongoing investigations.

On Sunday, the Supreme Court upheld the Shin Bet decision.
