Meet Nissim, (another) black Orthodox rapper

It’s surely a sign of the times that when I saw the email today about Seattle-based Orthodox African-American rapper Nissim, my first response was — again?

We’ve had Y-Love and Shyne. But as they say, three makes a trend.

Here’s the video for his single “Live for Now.” I can’t claim to understand what’s going on in this video, or what everyone is running from (or to?). But it sure is catchy.
