L.A.’s Jewish Journal reports that although thethe 219th General Assembly of the the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) approved a measure calling for U.S. aid to Israel to be tied to a settlement freeze, the group rejected “overtures that called for divestment from Israel and equated Israeli policy with apartheid.”
