Israeli man stabbed in Tel Aviv by Palestinian assailant

JERUSALEM (JTA) — An Israeli man was stabbed and seriously injured near a Tel Aviv train station in a suspected terror attack.
Police arrested a suspect in the stabbing shortly after the attack. The suspect is a Palestinian man, 25, from the West Bank city of Nablus, who hid in a building near the site of the stabbing after the attack. It is believed the attack was nationalistically motivated. The alleged attacker reportedly entered Israel illegally.
The stabbed Israeli man is reported to be about 20. Some reports are identifying the victim as a soldier. He reportedly had no pulse and was resuscitated at the scene of the attack. He was taken to Sheba Hospital at the Tel Hashomer medical center.
