JERUSALEM (JTA) — An Israeli man was shot and seriously injured while waiting at a West Bank junction.

The Israel Defense Forces identified the shooter in Monday night’s incident at the Rechalim Junction as a Palestinian terrorist and said its forces were searching the area for the shooter.

The junction is located near the West Bank city of Nablus.

A day earlier, Hamas Interior Minister Fathi Hammad called on West Bank Palestinians to show their support for Gaza by attacking Israeli targets.
