JERUSALEM (JTA) — An Israeli man was injured after his car was shot at near the West Bank settlement of Tekoa.

The car was hit multiple times in the Saturday evening attack, the Israel Defense Forces told Israeli media. The man in his 30s, who has not been named, continued driving to the settlement of Efrat, after which he was taken to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.

His wife and five children were in the car with him at the time of the attack, the Times of Israel reported.

Two West Bank Palestinian villages remained under a military closure on Sunday as Israeli troops searched for the shooters.
