Israeli gymnast Alex Shatilov places 6th in floor exercise

JERUSALEM (JTA) — Israeli gymnast Alex Shatilov failed in his bid to bring home a medal in the floor exercise.
Shatilov, 25, finished sixth in the floor exercise finals on Sunday, tying with American Jacob Dalton.
He finished in 12th place last week in the individual all-around final.
Shatilov was born in Uzbekistan and immigrated with his family to Israel at the age of 15.
