JERUSALEM (JTA) — Israel’s Davis Cup playoff with Argentina will be held next month in Sunrise, Fla.

The Israel-hosted Sept. 12-14 match was ordered moved out of the country earlier this month by the International Tennis Federation, at the request of the Argentine Tennis Association, due to the conflict in Gaza.

The neutral venue of the Sunrise Tennis Club was proposed by the Israel Tennis Association and was approved Friday by the Davis Cup Committee.

The city has large Argentine and Jewish communities.

An Israeli appeal against moving the tie from Israel was rejected last week.
