Illini sports fans can get kosher hot dogs

(JTA) — Fans of the University of Illinois sports teams will be able to buy kosher hot dogs at home games.

Illini Chabad will offer the kosher hot dogs at the State Farm Center in partnership with Illinois Athletics.

The kosher hot dogs will be sold at weekday men’s basketball games and some women’s games, as well as at next month’s Illinois versus Wisconsin football game, the Daily Illini student newspaper reported.

The food will be sold at a separate kosher stand. Other kosher foods could be added to the menu, according to the report.
