(JTA) — Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot met the top U.S. military commander in Europe in Brussels.

Eisenkot met on Monday with Philip Breedlove, who serves as both the commander of U.S. forces in Europe as well as the supreme allied commander of NATO, according to Israeli media reports.

The substance of the meeting has not been publicly disclosed.

The meeting took place as Brussels endured several days of security lockdown over concerns of an imminent terrorist attack.
