Just a little celebratory shout out to two legendary Jewish comics who each, in their own unique way, changed the American comedic landscape.

First up is comedian and “Fashion Police” host Joan Rivers, who turns 80 on Saturday. Sadly, Rivers is mourning her sister, lawyer Barbara Waxler, who passed away this week. The 300-person New York City birthday bash she planned has been put on hold, reports the New York Post.

Then on Sunday, shtick-master Jackie Mason will celebrate his 82nd birthday. Like Rivers, Mason is still working as hard as ever,  touring on his awesome stand-up act and filling the role of the only performer my mother-in-law would ever pay money to see.

Here’s to many more funny years for both of them.
