JERUSALEM (JTA) — A fourth man was arrested in connection with a 2009 shooting attack at a youth center for gays in Tel Aviv.

The man arrested early Thursday morning is a gay activist and police believe he has information that could assist in the investigation. He is not suspected of involvement in the 2009 shooting which led to the death of two people, according to Ynet.

The arrest comes a day after three other suspects were arrested. The suspects are all believed to be Jewish, from central Israel and between the ages of 20 and 40, according to reports.

The hate crime motive has been ruled out in the case, police have said, and instead it is thought to have been a personal vendetta against someone who was said to be in the club at the time of the attack, according to Haaretz.

A teenager, Liz Trubeshi, 16, and a youth adviser, Nir Katz, 27, were killed in the Aug. 1, 2009 attack on the Bar Noar club for gay, lesbian and transgender youth.

A gag order remains on the details of the investigation in which more than 1,000 people have been interrogated.

The fourth arrest comes a day before Tel Aviv’s annual Gay Pride Parade, which is scheduled to be held on Friday.
