JERUSALEM (JTA) — Nine Palestinians from eastern Jerusalem have been indicted for involvement in terror attacks against Jews, including throwing firebombs at an Israeli car and homes.

The nine Palestinians, five adults and four minors, were indicted Sunday, though they were arrested about two weeks ago, the Shin Bet security service said in a statement.

The members of the terror cell admitted during questioning that they planned the firebomb attacks in advance, in retaliation for the firebombing of a Palestinian home in the West Bank village of Duma, which left an 18-month old baby and his father dead.

On July 31, the morning after the attack in Duma, members of the terror cell threw firebombs at Jewish homes in Beit Hanina.  The August 3 firebomb attack on Route 20 near the eastern Jerusalem town of Beit Hanina wounded the driver and his wife, and completely burned up the car.
