Earthquake shakes northern Israel

JERUSALEM — An earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter Scale shook northern Israel.
The earthquake was felt in Metullah, located on the border with Lebanon, as well as in Kiryat Shemona and Safed. No injuries or damage were reported.
The earthquake was reported to be centered in south Lebanon.
In January an earthquake measuring 3.1 rattled the area around the Sea of Galilee and in December an earthquake measuring 4.2 was centered in Northern Israel and was felt in Jerusalem.
Parts of Israel and the West Bank lay on the Syrian-African fault line.
