JERUSALEM (JTA) — An apartment in a Jewish neighborhood of eastern Jerusalem was firebombed.

The Molotov cocktail was thrown onto the balcony of the apartment in the Armon HaNatziv neighborhood on Saturday night, causing the balcony to catch on fire.

Police and border patrol units reportedly began searching the nearby eastern Jerusalem neighborhood of Jabel Mukaber to capture the culprits.

The building has been hit with Palestinian-thrown rocks in the past and a firecracker recently was thrown at the building, according to Ynet.

The attack came days after a car in the West Bank was hit with a firebomb, severely injuring the 11-year-old passenger, and lightly injuring her father.
