JERUSALEM (JTA) — At least four Palestinians were killed and more than 30 wounded in Gaza when an unexploded Israeli bomb from last summer’s war detonated at the start of reconstruction.

The bomb went off while rubble was being cleared from a home in Rafah, in southern Gaza, the Palestinian Maan news agency reported. The four killed were members of the same family, according to Maan.

Over 7,000 unexploded ordnance remained in Gaza following Israel’s 50-day operation, Maan reported, citing officials from the U.N. Humanitarian Coordinator for the Palestinian territories.
