Welcome to the Light’s new website
Published May 12, 2010
Dear Friends of the Jewish Light:
We welcome you to our new website! We are excited to be able to offer you a wide variety of new features that will help make the Light a highly useful and fun part of your Jewish news browsing experience:
• Discussion threads that allow you to comment on stories
• Share stories with your friends through email and virtually any mainstream social networking site.
• Search capabilities that allow you to look up over 3,500 Light stories that have appeared online over the past 7 years (and in the future we hope to put all our pre-web content online as well).
• Expanded photo and video capabilities.
• Blogs that can be devoted to any subjects pertinent to the Light’s readership.
• Direct links to the Light’s Facebook, Twitter and Linked In sites
• The ability to create RSS feeds for your Light content
And lots, lots more!
We know that with any new piece of technology comes with all sorts of questions and, let’s face it, doesn’t always come out of the box with directions or explanations. So if you have thoughts, ideas, or constructive criticisms about our new web platform, contact us! We are thrilled to be able to tweak it along the way to provide you with the best web experience possible.
Thanks much for your continuing support and readership of the Jewish Light!
Sincerely,
Larry Levin
