LOOKING BACK • Mrs. Meyer Waldman (right) presented a check for $10,000 to St. Louis Children’s Hospital.  The money was raised by members of the Fern Waldman Memorial Fund for Cancer Research in Children.  The group’s annual fund raising efforts have taken place in memory of Mrs. Waldman’s daughter, Fern, who died of cancer.  Accepting the check are Dr. Teresa J. Vietti, director of the Division of Hematology and Oncology at Children’s Hospital, and Dr. Phillip R. Dodge, medical director at Children’s.
