Traditional Congregation held its ‘Knosh & Knowledge’ program on April 30 focused on “Letters to Frieda: Reading Between the Lines of the Holocaust.” The program began with brunch prepared by (pictured, from left) Suzanne Gilden, Nanci Gold and Gail Tullman; and was followed by a presentation by Michele Willner Levy. Her documentary film “Letters to Frieda” discusses a series of letters written to her mother from her grandmother that were hidden away until Levy recently discovered them. The letters described the atrocities of the Nazis and their aftermath.
