A Jewish Light photo from 1966 shows three young friends, Dov Zeffren, Tzvi (Hank) Goldberg and Abbie Spetner, each born on three successive days in February 1953. The boys’ parents — all of whom were heavily involved in the Jewish community and Jewish Federation (Israel Goldberg was a past Federation president) — were best friends and were in the hospital together. The friends reunited in Israel in February to celebrate their 65th birthdays. Above, from left: Zeffren, Spetner and Goldberg.
