Dr. Bernd Wollschlaeger, son of a high ranking Nazi commander and a convert to Judaism, presented his inspiring life story to a full house at Nusach Hari B’nai Zion synagogue on Sunday, Sept. 21.  The community-wide event attracted more than 350 people. Sponsors enjoyed an elegant dinner prior to the presentation and everyone was invited to a dessert reception following, where Dr. Wollschlaeger signed books and answered questions.
