On Monday, Partners in Torah, a weekly program run by the St. Louis Kollel, Aish Hatorah, and Ignite, hosted a special memorial event to commemorate the victims of the Oct. 7 attacks and to pray and perform “mitzvot” for those still held in Hamas captivity.
To accommodate participants driving from the Jewish Community Center, the program began a half-hour later than usual. The evening opened with participants learning Torah, followed by a message from Rabbi Menachem Tendler of U. City Shul. Afterward, the lights dimmed as participants embraced in a heartfelt “kumzitz” led by Rabbi Avi Roberts and Rabbi Yitzchak Yellin.
