Jill Delston was selected by the University of Missouri–St. Louis to receive the 2024 Gerald and Deanne Gitner Excellence in Teaching Award at the Chancellor’s State of the University Address.
The award recognizes a first or second-year tenure track faculty member for outstanding and innovative teaching. Delston is an assistant professor of philosophy at UMSL and a member of Congregation Temple Israel.
