Debra Klevens is one of six journalism educators who was recognized as a recipient of the Pioneer Award, the National Scholastic Press Association’s highest honor for journalism educators. A member of United Hebrew Congregation, Klevens is the newspaper adviser at Clayton High School and is secretary on the Jewish Light’s Board of Directors.
