Women’s Philanthropy plans service event April 11

 Women’s Philanthropy of Jewish Federation of St. Louis will host its ninth “Shower Our Community with Love” event at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 11at Epstein Hebrew Academy. Enjoy dessert and wine while making a difference; dietary laws observed.

Community service projects include:

• Packaging dental hygiene bags for Ralphcares, a program of the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry.

• Packaging emergency preparedness kits for our St. Louis Naturally Occurring Retirement Community (NORC).

• Making personal cards to insert into backpacks for the homeless, distributed by Back@You, a program supported by the Jewish Community Relations Council and the Jewish Fund for Human Needs. 

• Participants are asked to bring full-sized toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss and mouthwash.
