Women’s Philanthropy of Jewish Federation of St. Louis will host its eighth annual “Shower Our Community with Love” event at 7 p.m Thursday, April 14 at Saul Mirowitz Jewish Community School, 348 S. Mason Road in Creve Coeur. Guests will enjoy dessert and wine while making a difference; dietary laws observed.   

Women’s Philanthropy members will donate and help package items for Jewish families in need to help supplement the Congregational Chesed Fund. Visit WP.JFedSTL.org/Shower, where you can sign up for a gift card to bring. Additionally, women will make fleece blankets for residents living at Covenant Place and Crown Center for Senior Living. During the event, women will learn about PJ Library, the Harold Grinspoon Foundation’s popular national program that sends free Jewish-themed books and music each month to tens of thousands of children up to age 8, and through PJ Our Way up to age 11. Beginning April 14, each time someone visits PJRefer.org, he or she can be entered to win one of several prizes.
