Women’s Philanthropy of Jewish Federation of St. Louis will host its seventh annual “Shower Our Community with Love” event at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 23 at the Jewish Community Center Arts and Education Building, 2 Millstone Campus Drive.
Women’s Philanthropy members will participate in hands-on service projects benefiting Jewish Family and Children’s Service in St. Louis and Economic Empowerment for Women (EEW) in Israel. EEW brings about social change and economic independence for women in Israel by helping them to develop small businesses. During the program, women will package donated items for Jewish families in need and make Diane Katzman bracelets for women in Israel graduating from the EEW program.
Enjoy dessert and wine while making a difference; dietary laws observed. The women will also be collecting items off a Target registry list, which can be found at WP.JFedSTL.org/Shower. The cost of the shower is $20. RSVP by April 20 at WP.JFedSTL.org/Shower. For more information, contact Laura Fields at [email protected] or 314-442-3805.
